I started practicing yoga a few years ago when I was at a stage in my life where I was looking for “more”. I had graduated from Acadia a few years before and was feeling a bit lost. I was working with a wonderful organization – yet felt myself lacking fulfillment. A friend of mine dragged me to a class and ten minutes in to it I thought I would never make it out alive…well I did; and I left feeling better than I ever had in my entire life. I felt energized, happy, completely at ease, and ready to take on the world. This was it!! I had finally found an activity that made me feel good and gave me more energy than I’ve ever had. I have always wanted a career that involved helping people in some way so when the thought was put in my head to do the training I jumped on it. Deciding to quit my job and head to Montreal for a month to do my training was one of the easiest decisions I’ve ever made. That one month changed my life in so many ways. Being a part of the Moksha community is something that I consider one of the greatest gifts I have received as I am able to be a teacher to the most amazing individuals, and be a student to some of the most inspiring teachers. I love being in the studio teaching, practicing, and getting to know everyone that walks through the door. Life doesn’t get much better than this!
